Course objectives
Potts Financial Training LLP is accredited by the SRA to provide the PSC Compulsory Core Module Financial and Business Skills together with relevant, related elective courses. We are also able to provide a full PSC course including the Advocacy and Communication Skills and Client Care and Professional Standards Modules and relevant, related elective courses. Typical content
- The Financial and Business Skills course fully meets the SRA requirements but is delivered in such a way as to maximise the focus on the commercial and financial aspects of the SRA syllabus
- Full support is available from the tutor from the moment you sign on to the course until when you receive your successful notification of passing the exam. This will include advice on pre-course reading, answering questions in the evening, marking of practice questions and review of your exam performance if you are unsuccessful at your first attempt
- Our course materials are updated at least four times a year and will include the most current regulations, tax rates and investment products available
Typical practical work and case studies
- Test your knowledge questions will be used throughout building to full exam style questions on all topics in the syllabus
- Two mock exams and additional test questions are available for practice
- Additional questions are available on request, but the materials do include all you need to achieve a 100% pass mark in the exam
Duration and guideline fee
The SRA requirement for 18 hours face to face tuition plus a 90 minute exam are usually delivered over three consecutive days.
Fee – £1,700 per day plus an exam moderation fee of £300
Resits and additional tutorial help – no additional charge
Exam marking including expedited marking – no additional charge
Recommended maximum group size – 40 (SRA maximum permitted)
