Course objectives
This course is designed for accountants and auditors who primarily work with companies or clients that report under UKGAAP (or other ‘local’ GAAPs), with this also being the reporting framework they studied for their exams and are most familiar with. The course will typically provide a summary of the key developments in USGAAP over the previous 12 months or so and will look at the implementation dates for changes and whether concessions exist for private (non-SEC registered entities).
Typical content

- Commentary and guidance from regulatory bodies such as the PCAOB
- Summary of all remaining key differences between USGAAP and IFRS and / or UKGAAP depending which is most relevant and useful to attendees
Typical practical work and case studies
- Introductory refresher quiz to raise some key points and to test your current knowledge
