Approach

Relevant

We currently only provide in-house training as we will always look to tailor the content of the programme to focus on the specific needs of those attending. Although we are always happy to provide you with a suggested course outline, we are even more happy if you then tell us what you would like to add or delete and the key points you would like to emphasise.

Practical and engaging

We deliver training in a practical way; there will be case study examples, quizzes, illustrations and always the opportunity to ask questions. We will always provide an answer to your questions.

Enthusiastic

We are honestly enthusiastic about what we do. We believe that accounts and financial reports are one of the main ways a business tells you how they are, what they do and how they go about doing it. Improving the ability of course attendees to prepare, read and understand financial information is our main, overriding goal.

Methods of Delivery

Traditional face to face ‘chalk and talk’

We believe there will always be a role for good, well-delivered face to face training. There is really no substitute for the immediacy of response and interaction that is achieved. All our courses are delivered face to face with supporting notes and course materials available in either printed or electronic form.

Web-based

Many of our courses are also delivered through either attending a live or viewing a filmed version of the live webinar. Webinar versions are available for courses that are appropriate for this method of delivery so that we can still incorporate all the usual practical examples, case studies and quizzes.

The main benefit is the ability to provide training to a number of attendees in a variety of locations and have the content available to be viewed after the event.

e-learning

We are working on it and will let you know as soon as we have a product which we think really works and delivers top quality training.

Fees and charges

We usually charge a fixed fee for the agreement of content and course design, development and all supporting course materials and the delivery of the course. The fee will be based on the amount of design work, the length of the course and number of courses to be delivered, Typically fees will be in the region of:

3 hours training – £850

6 hours training – £1,700

We will usually charge for travel and subsistence costs as incurred and all charges will have VAT added when appropriate.

We are always prepared to be flexible and try to come to a solution that works within your budget, especially if the training will be running at quieter times of the year (August perhaps?).
