David Potts

David is an Accountant who has been organising and delivering financial training since 1990. He formed his own business in 1998 to deliver training that was designed to be practical, relevant, tailored to the specific needs of those attending and delivered in such a way as to be engaging and effective.

David personally delivers over 100 training sessions a year and hopes to continue to do so until people (especially the press) stop making ridiculous statements about accounts and finance.

David enjoys providing training for accountants to keep them up to date with all the latest developments and also to provide a refresher on the more well-established regulations and requirements. David also enjoys providing training for non-accountants, especially lawyers, seeing the financial world through their eyes and, hopefully, giving them a much clearer vision.

Clare Potts

Clare runs the office and administration for Potts Financial Training and has done so since day one. Clare qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1990 having gained a considerable reputation in being able to create order from even the most chaotic and messy financial situations. Clare makes sure that all training provided runs on time, with the correct people attending the correct venue, with the right speaker and the relevant course materials. Clare makes it all so easy and it means you only ever need one point of contact for all administrative enquiries.
